There has been a report of a myxomatosis outbreak(October 2014) in the Yarra Junction, Victoria.

We have a report of a myxomatosis outbreak in Don Valley, Victoria. It is 30 minutes or 30 kilometers from another outbreak at Yarra Junction Victoria.

Dear little 7 year old much loved bunny put down due to Myxomatosis 5 March 2014 in Manifold Heights Geelong Victoria. RIP little bunny. Sorry for your loss Eizabeth Forster-Knight.

2014 Outbreak, Hampton, Victoria: A pet rabbit owner in Hampton, Victoria, had to have several of her dear bunnies euthanized yesterday, they all contracted Myxomatosis, she is very careful too! So those with outside bunnies, PLEASE, please take extra care & precaution, it’s a horrible disease, I have lost an indoor house bunny to Myxomatosis, it’s heartbreaking, so please take extra care with indoor or outdoor bunnies.
