We all thought it may be too cold for myxo but unfortunatly, it has been reported that 7 buns have passed away at Angle Vale, 2 at Williamstown, 14 at Renella and 4 at Meadows in the last 2 weeks July 2011. I am sorry for the delay but i ve been out of action. My heart goes out to these families for their loss.

Use Advantix for Dogs on back of neck to repel mozzies and kill fleas. Rate: 0.1 ml per kg of rabbit. Apply fortnightly.

2014 Outbreak, Hampton, Victoria: A pet rabbit owner in Hampton, Victoria, had to have several of her dear bunnies euthanized yesterday, they all contracted Myxomatosis, she is very careful too! So those with outside bunnies, PLEASE, please take extra care & precaution, it’s a horrible disease, I have lost an indoor house bunny to Myxomatosis, it’s heartbreaking, so please take extra care with indoor or outdoor bunnies. Sad news of a myxomatosis outbreak in Ballina in northern NSW in two pet bunnies that had to be put to sleep after being diagnosed by a vet as having the deadly disease.

Outbreaks of Myxomatosis have been reported in Adelaide SA.
